Mural Dedicated Today
What a thrill it was to not only see the mural dedicated in LCEF's chapel service, but to hear an entire message on the Scripture passage that inspired it. I've been focused on the "pouring" part-- God's love flowing in and through us. Rev. Ron Roma, the wonderful chaplain at LCEF I've been working with, took the passage to a whole new level by articulating one way that life is different because of that outpouring of love. God's love, poured out through his Son Jesus Christ and into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, has the power to be the antidote to anxiety. As timely an application as it is practical. We can release anxiety into his tender care, lay down our fears at his feet, trust his love in the midst of chaos...all because in Jesus we have peace with God, we stand in God's grace, and his love is poured into us. Our hope will not be put to shame.
